Charlotte is a public affairs and policy specialist with extensive experience working at the highest level of government and politics.

She specialises in advising Portland’s clients on navigating Westminster and Whitehall, providing insights on the policy-making, legislative and regulatory processes. ​​

Prior to joining Portland, Charlotte was a Special Adviser to the Home Secretary, working on a range of policy issues including security, online harms, encryption and policing.

Charlotte has also served as Special Adviser to the Leader of the House of Commons at the Cabinet Office and as Head of Policy at the Conservative Party.
