Tom is a partner in the policy and public affairs team, working with clients across their strategic communications needs. Before joining Portland, Tom was an award-winning journalist at Sky News, where he worked for nearly two decades. As a foreign correspondent, he was based in Jerusalem covering the Middle East, before launching Sky’s first South East Asia bureau in Bangkok. As a political correspondent, he fronted hours of live broadcasting, interviewed UK and EU political leaders, and regularly attended global summits. Most recently, he ran Sky’s digital coverage of politics and was the founding editor of the Politics Hub.​
