Gisele is a strategic communications, public affairs, and policy specialist with over 20 years’ experience working across government, media and strategic advisory roles.
A trilingual senior leader based in Portland’s Doha office, she leads teams delivering large-scale government advisory, public relations, public affairs, and strategic communications programmes across the Middle East. She advises government and institutional clients across multiple sectors, playing a key role in the agency’s regional expansion.
Prior to joining Portland, Gisele served as a Political and Communications Attaché at the British Embassy in Doha, where she led domestic policy and justice portfolios in close coordination with senior government stakeholders, while overseeing public diplomacy, communications, and protocol.
Earlier in her career, Gisele worked as a journalist in the Middle East, reporting on regional politics for leading newspapers and television channels.
