Maria leads the People function at Portland, partnering with the management team to develop and deliver the company’s people strategy. Her work focuses on building a high-performing culture, strengthening employee engagement and ensuring that the organisation’s people agenda supports long-term business success.
She has more than a decade of HR experience across a range of sectors and brings a strong background in organisational development, talent management and employee experience. Before joining Portland, Maria worked at the New Statesman Media Group.
Maria is CIPD qualified and holds a BSc in Psychology.
