The next steps

The next steps

The road to the manifestos will look different depending on your vantage point. Some policy areas will receive far more attention than others; some businesses and organisations will find their interests much more up for grabs. The only way to go into 2015 with confidence is to ensure that during 2014 you have full visibility of what the manifestos might mean for you, and the right strategy to deal with it.
Portland is perfectly placed to help you reach that point. We work with clients every day to deliver high quality advice and execution, drawing on our experience in Downing Street, Parliament, Whitehall and Fleet Street.
For the 2015 election, we are offering the opportunity to undertake an in-depth examination of how the party processes will affect you, and what you should do to react.
Led by Portland’s Chief Policy Adviser James O’Shaughnessy, we will undertake a short, intensive project, which works with you to take in four stages:
1. Policy and perceptions audit
Our insight as to attitudes and discussions going on in political circles
2. Situation report
Our read-out of the process, important players and current state of debates
3. The wider environment
Our analysis of others in the debate, external factors and inter-relationship with other issues
4. Planning workshop and plan
A session curated by us to develop with you a final set of positions and a plan for the year ahead
