DISPUTES CLASS ACTION REPORT 2020

Portland’s inaugural Class Action Report provides the first ever insight into public perceptions of group litigation in the UK. The full report is available here

The Class Action Report 2020 polled a cross-section of the UK population.

Polling responses and Portland’s analysis reveals that:

  • Class actions are not instinctively trusted in the UK.
  • Law firms and litigation funders are perceived to be the main beneficiaries of class actions in the UK.
  • The UK has low awareness and knowledge of class actions.

The Class Action Report 2020 was produced by Portland Disputes, a team of litigation communications specialists.
